I am in New York, and I am sending you this postcard from a city I love and have loved; from a broken city. Broken; yet struggling to reimagine itself, as it has so many times before. Are we better?
Thank you for this deeply moving essay. The world has changed dramatically and it has hurt everyone I know....from vaxxed up elders in my retirement community to old friends I had for 4O years who proudly went with their grown children and grandchildren to get "vaccinated"....A sick degrading world is visible everywhere. Articles like yours...documenting this sudden transformation are so important and so validating to people like myself....a retired teacher who spends all the meager extra cash I have buying the books written by people like yourself, Ed Dowd, Dr. Peter McCullough and others and sending them to former friends and students. Don't give up. Never say "I surrender"...Thank you again for your work.
Many years ago my husband and I were neighbors and friends to an elderly German couple who fled from the Nazis to Africa and then to the US where they raised their family. Their fear and loathing of the Nazis and their grief at the destruction they witnessed of their families and communities was palpable. But they were survivors and they managed to create a new life for themselves in America. They worked very hard. He was a skilled cabinet maker and she worked as an aid in a local hospital...still barely scraping by. We met them when the pair visited my husbands custom furniture shop and antique repair service. Their children were completely "Americanized" and integrated into the culture. They did travel periodically to Europe to visit the birth places of the grandparents...etc. The elderly couple had heavy German accents and were very frugal and earthy...but extravagant with their "Kuchen"-- homemade cake--...and coffee.
Excellent essay. It's hard to escape the possibility this is all planned and coordinated. If something is good or redeeming, Evil forces do everything they can to destroy this feature of culture or society.

Thank you for your insights. To suss out all the underlying causes is exhausting. The pain of the changes are visceral.
